Sage comes in different forms which you can find it at your local health food store.  You can get sage as a tea, as a supplement in capsules, or refined as a tincture or essential oil. Sage as a tradition diet which has been used throughout history as an anti-aging herb and its use can be dated as far back as ancient China. The herb is high in antioxidants, it has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, and it functions to increase appetite and as a diuretic and a stimulant. Sage is also one of the great sources of Vitamin K. Vitamin K is difficult to find in many of the common food but it is one of the essential vitamins to maintaining bone strength and building bone density. Don’t waste time and wait till it is too late – drink at least a cup of sage tea per day and add it to your regime. A serving cup of sage tea will give you almost 30% of Vitamin K that your body needs per day.

Treats Skin Conditions

This herb is used in tincture form treats many common skin conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema and even acne. You can use tinctures, dilute sage in a carrier oil and massage it into trouble areas, or you can make or purchase a sage salve to treat unsightly blemishes.

Most people think of sage as a pot roast or savoury foods or a flowery free spirit. However,  most of it is benefits to human has been proved by modern studies. So use it as much as you can to help yourself and your healthy lifestyle.
